Ecostyle
Ecostyle, the trade fair for verified sustainable consumer goods, provides a suitable order platform for such goods. For the second time now it will be held in parallel with the international consumer goods trade fair Tendence. Exhibitors at the order platform will be presenting high-quality, responsibly sourced and manufactured consumer goods which combine design, functionality and environmental considerations.

Internationales Design Zentrum Berlin (International Design Center Berlin)
Since its founding in 1968, the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ) has been a communications platform connecting business, society and culture, and is dedicated to current as well as future topics and questions in design. Design comprises much more than aesthetics: design is a holistic process. Through projects, exhibitions and presentations, IDZ emphasizes various aspects of design, and presents and discusses current design topics. Social, economic and environmental as well as aesthetic considerations are all part of the effort to further the work of designers, as well as the effort to increase design consciousness in consumers and in companies alike. As a center of expertise, IDZ offers knowledgeable consulting services and is also an experienced partner in cooperative projects. Moreover, its member structure and international orientation offer a capable business network for the creative and design industries.

kubus
kubus (Cooperation and Consulting for Environmental Questions), the University based and funded Science Shop, is a service facility of TU Berlin and part of the Centre for Scientific Continuing Education and Cooperation (ZEWK). It has been established in 1986. We work on all domains of Nature Protection and Sustainable Development while intend to take part in solutions of future ecological and social tasks. Therefore we promote co-operation and exchange on matters of pressing environmental and social concern between the university and other interested parties.

KUNST-STOFFE - Center for recycling of materials - e.V.

Kunst-Stoffe promotes creative strategies for the reuse of material.  Scrap and used material are processed in our center and sold for a reasonable prcice to artists, DIY-users and non-profit organizations. In addition, we run a repair-shop open to everyone interested in DIY and offer workshops on different aspects of sustainability.

Modeprotest

The initiative (engl. fashion protest) aims for a change in consumer habits buying fashion. The Modeprotest intends to raise awareness with the single consumer to reflect its buying pattern and develop individual buying standards instead of solely relying on eco-labes and certificates. The goal is to reduce the consumption of fashion in general and to promote fair trade and environmental standards. In the long run the current fashion concept of fast fashion has to be replaced by the fashion industry by a sustainable approach towards fashion. The individual consumers are asked to change their habits on the short term reducing the negative impacts of fashion on the environment and supporting the long term transition.

RatioDrink
RatioDrink AG, a spin off of the Freie Universität Berlin, offers juice concentrates in different flavours to consumers to prepare diluted juice according to their likings. The juice is shipped to your home or office and saves you space and the burden of carrying heavy cases of juice. All concentrates are non sugar added and free of preservatives.

Recyclingbörse Herford - Arbeitskreis Recycling e.V. (AKR)
The AKR develops innovative solutions for the reuse and recycling of products and materials and the employment. We initiate and implement in cooperation with people involved in culture and arts projects like the annual Recycling Design Preis.

ReUse-Verein e.V.

The ReUse Verein e.V. ss a non-profit association focusing its activities on saving resources and avoiding waste through the promotion of reuse and recycling. It informs the public about the reuse and subsequent use of products, establishes collaboration of repair and reuses organizations and is involved in research projects. The ReUse Verein considers high quality of products as an essential prerequisite for the reuse. It involves itself in activities to improve product quality and initiates and performs campaign promoting quality and fighting obsolescence using the slogan “Quality - Yes, please!”
